Rusakevich admits "huge money" for state-owned media

Belarus's Information Minister is holding an on-line press conference on the web site of the official news agency BELTA. Here is what he responded to the question of Ivan Khomich about whether the government should allocate a lot of money to support the state-run media.
  "As the minister of information, I believe that the state's financial support to the development of the media is not sufficient. I am grateful to the country's leadership that huge money is now invested in the developmenty of the electronic media.

We spend around Br 5 billion from the state budget for the printed state-owned media. This is not a secret. The numbers are not restricted...".
