Russia bans Santa Bremor seafood imports
Belarus has suspended the issue of veterinary certificates of the Customs Union for a number of companies including Santa Bremor. It applies to products exported to Russia, ria.ru refers to the Russian Agricultural Inspectorate.
Head of the Belarusian veterinary inspectorate Alyaksandr Subotin sent a letter to head of the Russian Agricultural Inspectorate Sergei Dankvert. According to the letter, Belarus has suspended the issue of the Customs Union certificates to Minsk milk pant #1, Santa Bermor, Byalynichy protein plant and agricultural complex Zara. They will not be able to exprt their products to Russia.
Babushkina Krunka, Kalinkavichy milk plant and Barysau meat-packing plant will be put under enhanced control.
The factors that resulted in the production of goods that did not correspond to the existing norms will be investigated and a correction plan will be created.
