Russia Today hacked
The website was under hackers’ control for some time.
The website of the Russian propaganda channel Russia Today was hacked: the Russian version was attacked. Hackers managed to edit some of the texts published on the website, editor-in-chief of the TV channel Margarita Simanyan said.
“The hackers tried changing the contents of published articles. We are investigating the incident and trying to reveal the IP addresses used in the attack,” RT editor-in-chief wrote on Twitter.
Journalists’ screenshots show that the news with Dmitry Peskov’s comment on Minsk agreements has been replaced with an advertisement, BBC reports.
