Russian anti swine flu vaccine tested on humans

A test consignment of an anti swine flu vaccine is ready in Russia. Doctors have already started testing it on humans. 60 volunteers will get the vaccine created in Irkutsk. It should be taken through the nose. 70 other volunteers will test a mono vaccine created in Ufa.

The website of ONT reports that volunteers will get 8-10 thousand Russian roubles or about 300 dollars for taking part in the test.

If the test is successful, the vaccine will start being used in October.  Russian doctors are in a hurry because an anti swine flu vaccine has to appear before the usual autumn eruption.
