Russian APCs attack Novoazovsk and Mariupol
Deputy commander of Azov battalion Igor Maseichuk reports the Russian troops disguised as pro-Russian rebels try to attack Mariupol.
The column is heading for Telmanovo, volunteers report. Maseichuk has written in social networks: “Attention! Intervention! Large-scale intervention! The information has been confirmed by frontier guards and volunteers. About 30 tanks with Russian marks painted over with so-called DPR marks have crossed the Ukrainian-Russian border near Novoazovsk.”
A huge number of Grad systems and howitzers have also invaded Ukraine near Novoazovsk. ‘DPR’ militants and Russian soldiers are shooting and shelling at the bread factory in Novoazovsk, UNIAN quotes Maseichuk.
Mariupol garrison has been alerted. Azov battalion groups and soldiers are trying to stop the attackers but the forces are unequal: the attackers have more artillery and military equipment.
