Russian defense minister plane denied Polish airspace
Sergei Shoigu was returning from celebrations of 70th anniversary of Slovak National anti-Nazi Uprising
According to RIA Novosti, after the Russian Tu-154 left Banska Bystrica, its pilots received information that Poland would not provide its airspace for flight. As a result, the plane made a sharp turn in the air and landed at the airport of Bratislava in an hour. Negotiations are currently underway.
It is thus obvious that Poland responded to the actions of Russia, which sent troops to Ukraine. Officials in Warsaw openly stated that there had been a Russian aggression.
Later it became known that Ukraine also denied Shoigu plane its airspace. Eventually, Poland gave Russian aircraft with the defense minister on board permission to fly.
