Russian
economist Mikhail Khazin told the Ekho Moskvy radio station that Belarus and China pose a threat to the global
financial elite. The economist
touted Belarus's economic
model: "Russia cannot
copy Belarus' model but in Germany this is
possible. If the German leaders decide that they need a socialist system, they
would come to Belarus, all
100,000 German bureaucrats, establish the same system in Germany within
three months, and immediately get a competitive edge as compared to the current
system," he said.
