Russian Embassy appeals to see Vladislav Baumgertner
Consul Victor Koryagin says the Belarusian side should reply within 3 days, in accordance with the Vienna Convention.
The necessity for the meeting occurred in connection with the rumours that Vladislav Baumgertner disappeared from the detention center in Minsk. On September 23, neither the KGB nor the Investigatory Committee provided any information on Uralkali CEO's whereabouts, BelaPAN reports.
Russia's Consul Igor Koryagin has said that the Russian diplomats have know information on Baumgertner's whereabouts either.
Euroradio reminds, last week there was a great possibility of extradition of the Uralkali top-manager from Belarus to Russia. On September 23, Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Vladimir Putin briefly discussed the situation with Uralkali at the "fields" of the CSTO Summit in Sochi.
