Russian riot policeman transports Vietnamese migrants to Belarus
Frontier guards have detained him, two of his accomplices and 12 Vietnamese migrants.
A channel of illegal migration to the European Union has been revealed by the State Border Committee, BelaPAN reports.
The organizers of the illegal migration, two of his accomplices and 12 Vietnamese migrants were detained on December 30, press secretary of the State Border Committee Alyaksandr Tsishchanka said. The illegal migrants wanted to enter Lithuania.
According to frontier guards, the accomplices (citizens of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan) delivered the migrants to the border by car. The organizer, a Russian citizen from the Chechen Republic, was going to help them cross the border. The man was a former riot policeman and his serious equipment testified to it.
