Russians allowed to carry arms for self-defence
The rules were stricter in the past.
The Russian government has allowed the citizens having special permits to carry arms for self-defence, BBC reports.
The corresponding amendments to the existing legislation were made on November 8. The new rule has been published on the official legal information portal.
It used to be allowed to carry weapons only while hunting, at sports events and training.
