The Kremlin Clock is Russia’s main clock on the Spasskaya Tower. It will be closed for repairs on the New Year’s Day, TASS refers to Russian mass media.
The pointers and figures will be repaired. People will not be able to see the Kremlin Clock in the Red Square. However, the mechanism will keep working.
The repairs of the Spasskaya Tower have started this week and will be finished in the spring of 2015. Some other background will have to be used during Vladimir Putin’s speech.
