Belarus' State Petrochemical Industry Concern Belnaftakhim has assessed the damages from the situation with contaminated Russian crude oil, which forced Belarus to suspend the exports of light petroleum products to Ukraine, Poland and the Baltic States. The losses from the missed revenues in April amounted to nearly $100 million, reports state news agency BELTA quoting Belnaftakhim CEO Uladzimir Sizou.

On 26 April, a delegation from the Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft will arrive for talks in Minsk.
