Rymasheuski: A BCD member won at elections
Belarusian Christian Democrats are collecting information from the other constituencies now.
One of the heads of the BCD steering committee Vital Rymasheuski told Euroradio:
“According to the preliminary reports, one of our representatives has been elected deputy in a rural constituency. We will officially confirm it at a press conference. It is a small constituency. The BCD organized an active campaign during the African swine fever epidemic when people were indignant at the authorities’ actions there.”
The information about a BCD member’s victory has not been confirmed yet, the politician added. They are also checking reports about one more BCD candidate’s victory now. The final press conference dedicated to the election results will be given within two days.
