Scientists: Popular musicians live less than other people
Australian scientists’ research testifies to it.
The survey conducted by a professor of Sidney University covers almost 13 thousand American musicians who died in the past 60 years – from the time when rock 'n' roll appeared. The life span of popular musicians is 25 years shorter than of an average U.S. citizen, BBC reports.
Suicides, cases of violent or sudden death are registered among musicians much more often, the research revealed.
