Searches conducted in Malady Front members’ flats in Minsk
Flats of activists of an international youth organization “Malady Front” have been searched in Minsk. Policemen are trying to frustrate the today’s street action dated for St.Valentine’s Day and allowed by the city authorities. BelaPAN informs that policemen and people in plain clothes damaged the door and rushed into the flat rented by a Malady Front activist Mikalai Dzyamidzenka. He was not shown any search warrant. Documents concerning activities of “Malady Front” and personal belongings including a laptop were confiscated.
Let us remind you that policemen searched the flat of Katsyaryna Halitskaya who sent an appeal for the action to Minsk City Executive Committee late in the evening, on February 13. White-red-white flags, EU flags, T-shirts with opposition slogans and transparencies needed for the action of February 14 were confiscated from her. She was not shown any search warrant either.
