Several foreign banks functioning in Belarus get blacklisted in USA
Iranian banks Onerbank and Torgonov Kapital having official representatives in Belarus have been blacklisted in the USA, informs BelaPAN.
The United States of America has also imposed unilateral sanctions on 21 other Iranian companies. Most of them work in the field of finance, insurance, mining operations and industry. The Iranian government controls them.
The Ministry of Finance advises all American citizens and companies to stop cooperating with these Iranian organizations.
By the way, a journalist Svyatlana Kalinkina has noted in her blog that there are no Torgonov Kapital banks in Belarus but there is “Trade Capital”. Besides Iranians, a famous businessman Alyaksei Vahanau, the head of the enterprise “LADE OMS - Holding” is among its co-founders.
