Shop assistant ousts woman with pram from shop, gets fired

The shop assistant who ousted a woman with a pram from the shop Kalinka situated in Dzyanisauskaya Street in Minsk has been fired. The manager has been reprimanded, Komsomolskaya Pravda in Belarus reports.

 

The incident occurred two weeks ago. Parents with a pram where their child was sleeping were asked to leave the shop’. They were told that it was forbidden to enter the shop with prams. They asked for the complaints book but they did not get it. The shop assistant closed the shop and put the notice ‘No prams, please’ on the door. The notice was removed later.

 

When the incident was reported in social networks, the company Kalinka punished its employees for ‘discrediting its business reputation’. The company apologised to the Minsk family.
