Soldier sentenced to restricted freedom for beating fellow soldier
The Dziarzynsk District Court sentenced a young soldier who beat a fellow soldier in boxing mittens to 18 months of restricted freedom without imprisonment.
The convict is also a draftee, Minsk Region Court’s press service reports. He repeatedly ‘humiliated’ one of the soldiers. The incident occurred during the preparation for a sports competition – he put on boxing mittens and hit the soldier’s hands at least thrice because the latter had refused to do psychical exercise. The soldier decided to complain and a criminal case was started.
