Steering committee of Movement “For Freedom” asks Supreme Court for help in registration
Members of the steering committee of the Movement “For Freedom” have sent a complaint about the actions of the Ministry of Justice to the Supreme Court. The Ministry has refused to register it for the second time. Yuras Hubarevich who signed the document together with Alyaksandr Milinkevich and Alyaksei Kavalets informed ERB about it.
Let us remind you that the Ministry of Justice thinks that the conference of the Movement “For Freedom” was illegal because it had not been authorized by local authorities. However, members of the steering committee are sure that the refusal is groundless and that it violates the Constitution.
Politicians also complain about the Ministry of Justice violating the terms of registration of civil associations –the appeal was considered for 11 days more than it is allowed.
Hubarevіch, Kavalets and Mіlіnkevіch are asking the Supreme Court to announce the decision of the Ministry of Justice illegal and to oblige officials to register the Movement “For Freedom”.
