Students’ newspaper appears in Mahileu
The first issue of an independent students’ edition “BUM” (“Bulletin of Mahileu Supermarkets”) is out in Mahileu. Its creation was initiated by students of Mahileu Sate University of Kulyashou.
According to the edition’s editor-in-chief Stanislau Kavalauski, “the newspaper has nothing to do with politics and is aimed at presenting students independent impartial information”.
The dean’s office got very much interested in the edition. The university’s administration was discontent with the students’ initiative.
Some articles already led to reprimands. Besides Mahileu State University, the edition is distributed in Belarusian Institute of Jurisprudence.
The edition’s print run is 250 issues.
