Suspected Biryulyovo killer detained (photo, video)
Arhan Zeinalov suspected of killing Yegor Shcherbakov has been found in Kolomna, 120 kilometres away from Moscow.
He was detained by special police troops, RIA Novosti reports. Zeinalov is being delivered to Moscow now.
A stranger killed a young man who was trying to protect his girlfriend in Birulyovo District, Moscow, on Thursday. The suspected killer’s face was recorded by a security camera; he looked like a person born in Central Asia or the Caucuses. “The people’s protest action” resulted in mayhem. The police detained almost 400 people.
The suspected killer’s name was announced later – Arhan Zeinalov.
The video showed a stranger following a girl. She was about to enter her house but he was trying to hold her by the arms and cape. The girl was crying. Then she managed to enter the house and close the door.
The upset man decided to take it out on another couple: Yegor Shcherbakov and his girlfriend Ksenya. They were returning from a bowling club. A fight started. The camera showed Kseniya running away and asking people for help. Wounded Yegor was already lying on the pavement. Neighbours and witnesses ran towards him. They called an ambulance. But the young man did not survive.
