Well-known Belarusian writer Svyatlana Aleksiyevich has received the Ryszard Kapuściński Award for Literary Reportage. Her book Second-Hand Time recently translated into Polish has been noted.
Aleksiyevich presented her book Second-Hand Time in Warsaw on May 14, Euroradio reported earlier. Hundreds of readers came to meet her. An adherent of the self-declared ‘DPR’ also came there. The elderly man kept shouting out mottoes in support of Donets Basin all the time.
