Teenager sentenced to 3 years in prison for video of Russian military

Pavel Piskun, a teenager from Homiel, has been sentenced to three years in jail for a video of Russian military equipment in Belarus.

The sentence was passed by Judge of Homiel regional court Aliaksandr Piskunou, human rights activists report. The judge is known for politically motivated sentences against journalists and activists.

The teenager made a video of the Russian military and sent it to the "extremist" telegram channel. For this, he was charged with aiding extremist activity (Part 1 and Part 2 of Article 361-4 of the Criminal Code). 

At the time of committing the "crime," Pavel was 17 years old. He was born in 2004.
