"Tell the Truth" trying to obtain official registration for fourth time
The Supreme Court did not satisfy the campaign's complaint to the negative decision of the Ministry of Justice.
Judge Valyantsina Kulik announced this decision on august 7. The Ministry of Justice based their refusal on two violations, informs BelaPAN. The first of them was the overdue guarantee letter on provision of legal address. However, according to the campaign's representatives, the document was in force at the moment of submission of the registration documentation to the Ministry of Justice, and the officials temporized and did not reply till the very last moment.
The campaign's activists consider that the second violation was made-up. The Ministry of Justice claims they did not set the exact number of people in the directive board. However, "Tell the Truth" representatives claim they did, and even enlisted the surnames.
This was the third attempt of the civil campaign to get an official registration in Belarus. They held first founding assembly in November 2010, the second - in June 2011.
Leader of the campaign Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu stated that "Tell the Truth" would make the fourth attempt of registration. The steering committee will get together to hold a session already today, on August 7.
