Thefts top criminal record in Minsk
Theft is the most common felony offence in Minsk, according to a report released by the Minsk City Police Department. The Minsk Police spokesman Aliaksandr Lastouski said thefts accounted for 76 percent of crimes in the Belarusian capital.
Thefts often occur because of victims themselves when they bring casual people into their apartment, reports the Minsk Naviny news agency.
