"It is true that three people including the young man who tired committing suicide right before the soldier died [Alyaksandr Korzhych – Euroradio’s note] are undergoing treatment in Navinki now. The suicide attempt was prevented by members of the 72nd United Guards Training Centre. It turned out that the man had tried committing suicide four times before the draft but his relatives concealed this fact,” Uladzimir Makarau said.

TUT.by also has information about two other soldiers in Navinki. Both of them served in military unit #39864 of the training centre in Pechy. One of them was taken to mental hospital after telling the commanders that he could no longer bear the bullying and the army service conditions. The other soldier is recovering after a serious trauma.
