Ticket controllers on Minsk public transport wear no uniform

Effective from 21 July, ticket collectors on trolleybuses in Minsk are allowed to appear wearing no uniform, reports BELTA.
Controllers on tram routes in the Belarus capital city wear plain clothes beginning from spring.
Ticket controllers must carry an official ID, a badge with a photo and job title, along with a mobile ticket verification device.
Fare evasion on public transport in Minsk will incur a fine of BYN 11.5 ($6).
The revenue protection authority says fare dodgers will now find it more difficult to avoid paying for a ticket. Several years ago, ticket controllers had their uniform (blue with bright yellow inserts) replaced with less flashy colors.
