The head of Minsk Traffic Inspectorate Syarhey Shutau noted that inspectors would have to prove whether a driver really used a cell phone while driving.
Let us remind you that starting from March 1 the fine for using a phone while driving ranges from 3 to 62 thousand BRB.
But inspectors will have to give evidence of such infringements. That is why they will have to use complexes “Arena” that can register car tags and the actions of drivers. Otherwise they will have to ask witnesses or policemen for help.
