Transneft: Belarus raised oil transit tariffs without further notice
Belarus has increased the oil transit tariffs without prior warning and violated the existing agreements, TASS quotes representative of the Russian company Igor Dyomin.
Transneft did not receive any inquiries either from Homeltransnafta Druzhba or from Polatsktransnafta Druzhba, Dyomin said. The Russian company has reported the violation to the Russian Federal Antomonopoly Service.
The transit tariffs for Russian oil went up on October 1. The Belarusian Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade made the decision. The tariffs will increase by 1.5 times on October 11. The current tariffs came into force on February 1, 2016.
