Ukraine authorizes troops to fire in self-defence
Ukraine's Ministry of Defense orders troops to fire at Russian soldiers in Crimea.
The news is reported by Ukrainskaya prauda newspaper, quoting the press office of Ukraine's defense ministry.
"In connection with the death of Ukraine's warrant officer S.V. Kakurin during an attack on 13th Photogrametric Center of Main Logistics Department of Ukraine's Armed Forces (Simferopol) by unidentified men dressed in the Russian Army uniforms, Ukraine's military units located in Crimea are allowed to use weapons in self-defence and to save the lives of Ukrainian soldiers," the statement said.
