Ukraine's Navy commander detained in Sevastopol
Commander Sergey Gaiduk has been ‘temporarily detained’ by Sevastopol public prosecutor's office ‘to answer some questions’, Russian media report.
Haiduk is accused of “sending the order to use weapons against peaceful citizens to Ukrainian military units”, UNIAN reports.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defence allowed Crimean soldiers to use weapons on March 18. It was done after the death of a Ukrainian warrant officer killed by attackers who assaulted a public prosecutor's office topographic centre of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
