Uladzіmіr Karobka: Factory member Dakota’s voice range is 3.5 octaves
The Belarusian “factory member” Dakota has been nominated for leaving the project for the third time during the last nomination. Let us remind you that she stayed in “the star house” thanks to the right of veto used by the general producer of “Star Factory” Larysa Sinelshchykava.
Marharyta has recorded a new song and ERB talked about it to her teacher of vocal Uladzimir Karobka who informed that Dakota’s voice range was 3.5 octaves:
Karobka: She is preparing a good song that may sound really nice. She has already expressed herself as a singer a bit – she has learned to narrate. Of course it is not enough but she is able to present her work.
Mr. Karobka said that the song was in moderate time and it was in Dakota’s style because she had written it herself. However, it would be better not to talk about it anymore because it would be more interesting to listen to it on TV.
Dakota’s mother Svyatlana is not afraid of the nomination either this time. She thinks that her daughter will stay in the project. She does not expect Marharyta to win although she thinks that she has a chance to do it.
Dakota’s mother: She has a chance to win. But I don’t think that Belarusians will be allowed to win for two years on end.
The singer’s mother is watching everything happening in “the star house”. She is listening to her daughter’s songs and duets. Svyatlana Herasimovich likes the latest duet with Surhanava best.
Dakota’s mother: Surhanava is compared to Anna Ahmatova. That’s why it requires a lot of mental work to make a good joint performance. Getting such a variant of the song from a 17-year-old child is great.
Furthermore, Dakota did not have enough time to work on the song. The performance was almost an improvisation.
Marharyta’s aunt who saw her before the performance said that Marharyta looked upset. However, she nerved herself and showed her vocal abilities.
But, according to some Internet sources, this performance is the reason for the nomination. Surhanava quarrelled with Dakota and told her she did not know how to sing which made Marharyta cry. The duet needed three takes to be recorded and the former vocalist of “Nochnye Snaipery” was not satisfied.
Dakota’s mother saw the performance only on TV. Svyatlana Herasimovich is going to arrive in Moscow to attend the nomination. Ryta’s friends and classmates will also go there. However, Dakota will be obliged to pass exams without attending classes according to her contract when she returns to Minsk.
The singer will become a school graduate this year but she will not try to enter a university because of the project. Her mother says that playing on tour and working with producers will take a lot of time. If Marharyta had not got to “Star Factory”, she would have tried to enter the university and study producing and computer arrangement.
