Uladzimir Syamashka negotiates with Gazprom
The Belarusian delegation tried solving a number of problems in the Russian capital on Wednesday.
Belarusian senior vice PM Uladzimir Syamashka (in the photo) negotiated with Russian vice PM Arkady Dvorkovich in Moscow on November 26. They discussed the realization and prospects of Belarusian-Russian integration projects. In particular, they talked about cooperation in the petrochemical industry and the supplies of Belarusian agricultural products to Russia, BELTA reports.
Russia has imposed a ban on the import of products on about 20 Belarusian dairy and meat-packing plants and on the transit of EU products affected by the Russian sanctions from Belarus to Kazakhstan recently. The result of Syamashka and Dvorkovich’s negotiations is unknown at the moment.
The senior Belarusian PM met Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller in Moscow on Wednesday. They discussed cooperation in the gas share and supplies of gas to Belarus and its transit across our territory in 2015-2017. It was announced that ‘the contracts were almost ready’.
The active participation of Gazprom in “the social and economic development of Belarus” was also discussed at the meeting.
