Uladzimir Valodzin suspected in Akrestsina atttack
The civic activist and member of the Belarusian Green Party Council Uladzimir Valodzin has not been released, informs BelaPAN. He was first arrested on September 8 in Minsk upon suspicion in having something in common with the arson of the "Belarusbank" department on April 30. He spent 3 days in the detention center at Akrestsina street. Valodzin has been released and arrested again - this time upon the suspicion in the attack on the detention center. Unknown people bombarded the detention center with fiery bottles on September 8. Uladzimir Valodzin haven't even managed to leave the detention center when he was arrested again. He is suspected even though he has an alibi. The member of the "Greens" is known by his constant critical speeches with regard to construction of the new nuclear power station in Belarus. He is also an expect and co-author of the independent Civic ecological expertise of the Belarusian nuclear power station.
