An American Senator Benjamin Cardin who has arrived in Belarus together with a US Congress delegation has informed about it, reports BelaPAN.
Let us remind you that a lawyer Zeltzer was sentenced to three years of imprisonment for using fake documents and commercial spying attempts in August 2008. The American has not pled guilty.
His lawyer Dzmitry Harachka thinks that Zelzer can be amnestied. However, the administration of his colony claims that it cannot consider his amnesty because it has not received the necessary documents from Minsk City Court.
