Valyantsіna Lyahavets wins bronze medal at European Weightlifting Championships
A Belarusian sportswoman Valyantsina Lyahavets has become a bronze medal winner of the European Weightlifting Championships in Minsk. The Belarusian who performed in the 53 kg division showed the third result in the two events – 198 kg (87 kg – snatch + 11 kg – clean and jerk). The continent’s champion is a Turkish sportswoman Aylin Daşdelen – 208 kg (88kg +120 kg). The silver medal belongs to a Bulgarian weightlifter Boyanka Kostova – 199 kg (87 kg + 112 kg), notes BelTA.
