Victoria Azarenka has made it to the Miami Open quarterfinals. She overcame in a confident manner a higher rank rival – Agnieszka Radwańska of Poland (Azarenka is No.186 and the Pole is No.32 in the WTA rankings). She will take on Czech Republic's Karolína Plíšková (World No. 6) in the quarterfinals.
Azarenka defeated Americans Catherine Bellis and Madison Keys and Latvian Anastasija Sevastova (all of them are in the Top 50). The Belarusian tennis player is a three-times tournament winner. The last time it happened was in 2016.
