Victoria Azarenka becomes World No.5
Belarusian tennis player Victoria Azarenka has taken the fifth position in the updated WTA rankings. Having won the Miami Open, the Belarusian went up by three positions.
American Serena Williams is still the World No.1. However, the gap is closing. Angelique Kerber of Germany is in the second place followed by Pole Agnieszka Radwanska. Spaniard Garbiñe Muguruza is in the fourth position followed by Azarenka.
Two more Belarusian tennis players are in the top-100. Volha Havartsova is in the 99th position (down from the 84th). Aliaksandra Sasnovich is in the 100th place now.
