Tennis: Victoria Azarenka out of Australian Open
The Belarusian tennis star exits Australian Open after three victories and defeat to Slovakia's Dominika Cibulkova.
Victoria Azarenka has been defeated by Slovak Dominika Cibulková and dropped out of the Australian Open. The 1/8 final match was played in three sets and was difficult for the Belarusian – 2:6, 6:3, 3:6.
Azarenka defeated American Sloan Stevens in the first round (6:3, 6:2) Dane Caroline Wozniacki in the second round — 6:4, 6:2 and Czech Barbora Záhlavová-Strýcová – in the third round (6:4, 6:4).
Victoria Azarenka won the Australian Open in 2012 and 2013 and dropped out in the quarter final last year.
