Yarmoshyna: Candidate urged to legalize marihuana, speech not to be broadcast
The speech of the parliamentary candidate who urged to legalize marihuana will not be shown on TV, CEC chairperson Lidziya Yarmoshyna announced at a press conference on Tuesday. Pavel Stefanovich’s (UCP member) speech was supposed to be shown on Belarus-3. However, the channel employees sent the speech to an expertise in the Central Election Commission.
“Doesn’t UCP have any other problems to solve? The candidate showed the programme ‘One Million Jobs’ at the end of his speech. It was clear where they would find those jobs,” Lidziya Yarmoshyna said.
Pavel Stafanovich is running for MP in Minsk South-West constituency #98, Euroradio reported earlier. He announced his desire to legalize marihuana at the first stage of the election campaign.
