Yarmoshyna: UCP and BPF could prepare provocations
CEC chairwoman Lidziya Yarmozhyna comments on attempts by some opposition parties to register nomination groups in several constituencies at a time.
A number of candidates tried to register initiative groups in several constituencies at a time. Unaffiliated participants of the election campaign were unaware of the recent changes to the Election Code, BELTA quotes Lidziya Yarmoshyna. According to them, a candidate can only run for deputy in one constituency at a time.
Meanwhile, the CEC chairperson drew attention to a tendency noticed in the actions of BPF and UCP representatives. “Representatives of these two parties deliberately applied for registration in several constituencies at a time. It testifies to their desire to organize some provocation,” Yarmoshyna noted.
