YouTube deletes Belarus TV's propaganda film

YouTube has removed the Belarus state television film titled “White Legion of Black Souls" because the authors illegally used musice by Irdorath Fantasy Folk Band and thus violated the copyright. The band is Belarusian. Check the comments by a band's representative here.

The film was aired on Belarus 1 state TV channel on the evening of April 12. In the film, the authors drew a comparison between the now-defunct Belarusian patriotic organization White Legion with Nazis. They claimed that it alledgedly had plans to organize terror attacks in Moscow. The footage depicted several men detained recently in Minsk in connection with the 'riot case' (aka 'patriots case') who remain behind bars. The film was uploaded to Belarusian state Television News Agency (ATN)'s YouTube channel on the same evening.
