17:51 Lukashenka to appeal to nation, MPs in live TV address
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenka is scheduled on April 24 to take part in a joint session of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republc of the National Assembly of Belarus. He is set to read an address to the Belarusian people and the legislators, said the press office of the head of the state. The address will be screened in a live televised broadcast, starting at 1200 Belarus time, on all of the three Belausian TV channels and on the first channel of the Belarus Radio, reports Interfax.
