2-metre potato pancake to be made in Stoubtsy
It will be made during the ancient Belarusian festival of sun and spring equinox called Solstice.
The biggest Belarusian potato pancake (dranik) will be made at the manor Sula in Stoubsty District of Minsk Province on March 21. The festival will be held there, BelTA reports.
The biggest Belarusian potato pancake will be made at the festival. It is supposed to be at least 2 metres in the diameter. All participants of the happening will be able to taste the gigantic potato pancake.
The ceremonies Calling for Spring and Waking of the Bear will be held during the festival. A fire purifying rite will also be conducted. A scarecrow will be brunt down there. People will be able to go for helicopter and horse walks.
