Three pro-Russian militants were killed and 13 injured during an overnight raid on a military base in eastern Ukraine. 63 people were detained
Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov has reported it on Facebook.
A group of about 300 people tried to attack a military unit of the Ukrainian National Guard last night, Euroradio reported. They were throwing Molotov cocktails and fougasses. Having fired warning shorts into the air, the soldiers started shooting to kill. The attackers retreated.
The special operation of Ukrainian riot police continues in Mariupol, UNIAN reports. An armed group is still being chased by a special unit of the MIA. The police are patrolling the streets.
There are no victims among Ukrainian riot policemen. Three attackers were killed. 13 were wounded and 63 – detained, Avakov said.
