7 recaptured Ukrainian soldiers executed in ‘DPR’ (video)
Former POW Oleg tells his story after he was exchanged for a pro-Russian rebel in mid-September.
Oleg was kept in a pit in Donetsk. There were locals and Chechens among his guards, he said. The young man participated in ‘the captives’ parade’ organized by militants in Donetsk on Ukraine’s Independence Day.
He saw the corpses of 7 Ukraine soldiers, Oleg claims. Militants captured them and found out that it was their second time in captivity. “We do not give a second chance,” the murderers told the other captives, Gromadske TV reports.
