Access to 41 website restricted in Belarus in 2015
In Belarus in 2015 access was restricted to 41 web site. Just the four of them, after the correction of violations, had their access restored, announced on Thursday the Information Minister Liliya Ananich. According to her, these sites were blocked for spreading extremist materials, providing information used for spreading drugs, for improper advertising of medicines, for alcohol advertising and promotion of child pornography.
Over the last year, the Ministry of Information issued 36 warnings to the print media.
"Ministry of Information will continue to demand that all members of the information field observe the law," BELTA quoted the words of Lilia Ananich. -- We will go as far as restricting access to Internet resources, whose activity is against the national interest."
