Action against ‘Russian expansion’ held near Belarusian Embassy in Kiev
Several dozen Belarusian and Ukrainian activists have taken part in the protest.
Several dozen Belarusian and Ukrainian activists gathered near the Belarusian Embassy to Kiev on July 30. They demanded to ban ‘imperial symbols’ in Belarus, Radio Liberty reports. Ribbons of Saint George were used by the so-called ‘Vlasovtsy’ who supported fascists and took part in actions directed against peaceful Belarusian citizens, leader of the movement Razam Vyachaslau Siuchyk noted.
The action participants burnt down ribbons of Saint George and urged people to unite against Russia’s ‘imperial aggression’.
