Activists of entrepreneurs’ rescue committee get fined

Maladzechna District Court fined three activists of the entrepreneurs’ rescue committee on June 10, BELTA reports. They organized a meeting in support of private entrepreneurs on May 14.

Deputy head of the movement Solidarity Alyaksandr Makayeu was fined for 10.5 million roubles (50 base amounts), head of Barysau affiliate of the Belarusian Social-Democratic Party (Hramada) Ales Abramovich – for 8.4 million roubles (40 base amounts) and coordinator of Minsk Province affiliate of the BCD organizing committee Pavel Prakapovich – for 6.3 million roubles (30 base amounts).

Abramovich and Prakapovich were fined for a picket against the construction of pig farms in Maladzechna District earlier. They organized the action near Maladzechna District Executive Committee on May 12. Abramovich was fined for 8.4 million roubles (40 base amounts) and Prakapovich – for 6.3 million roubles (30 base amounts).
