Almost all Malady Front members detained today are released
Almost all of the Malady Front members detained today have been released without drawing up protocols. Let us remind you that 32 people were detained in the office of the Belarusian congress of democratic trade unions while taking part in a meeting. The police referred to neighbours complaints “about people throwing garbage from the windows of that office”.
All the detained including former political prisoners Zmitser Dashkevich and Artur Finkevich were delivered to Leninski District police office where they had to spend several hours.
Only one activist – Artsyom Dubski from Asipovichy – was taken to the investigation department of Minsk City Executive Committee. It is connected with a criminal case against participants of a mass action of protest organized by entrepreneurs in Minsk on January 10.
